Kids’ Brains and Screens: This is my most popular workshop, based on key content from our Kids’ Brains & Screens curriculum for parents. It covers well-researched topics such as how to support healthy brain development, the differences between types of screens, and the impact of social media, video games, and pornography on the developing brain. Parents will leave empowered with practical solutions, clear how-to guidance, and the confidence to make informed decisions about screen time and personal devices in their home.

Two part workshop
Part 1: A 60 minute workshop for families of 4th-8th graders; covers basic brain development and screen overuse. This workshop is design for families to attend together.
Part 2: A 60 minute workshop for parents and caregivers which reviews the science behind screen addiction and ScreenStrong’s Solutions.

We will dive into brain development; how today's interactive screens affect a developing brain as well as the current mental health crisis affecting today's students. Teachers and support staff will walk away with the ability to make an informed decision when it comes to screen time in their classroom.

Students will learn the facts about basic brain science and how addictive technology like social media and video games affect a healthy brain. They will feel encouraged and excited to live life off the screen.

You Are Move Than Your Screen: This workshop is derived from the ScreenStrong Student Course. Scouts will learn the facts about basic brain science and how addictive technology like social media and video games affect a healthy brain. Scouts will create a journal to guide them through a 7 day screen reset.
1.5 hour program
Program is designed for juniors and cadettes

ScreenStrong’s book Kids’ Brains and Screens: Home Edition can form the foundation as participants share their experiences and support one another.
I will assist in kicking off your book club to create a space where parents can learn about the benefits of screen limits, explore practical strategies, introduce their children to other like-minded children, exchange ideas, and celebrate successes while fostering a community that champions connected childhoods.
Flat fee of $50; includes 30 minute virtual call and my attendance at your first meeting

Cost is $50 per hour
